Short description
The competition is organized by the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Canada.
“ The competition format is the photo essay. At its simplest, the definition of a photo-essay is a set or series of photographs that are intended to tell a story or evoke emotions in the viewer. We invite photographers to submit curated photo essays to illustrate their mountain related stories that fall under the sub-categories of culture, adventure, wildlife, sport, environment, or natural history.
Each essay submitted is to consist of 3 to 5 images.
Images must have been taken within the last two years (2020 – 2022) "
